As you can see all went well ,a good view of the house and all its history and art works. The group jelled together very well; we had a great bus driver who managed the London traffic with great skill.
The hotel was excellent and quite near by, Nigel joined us on the evening of our arrival and meet every body in the bar we had a glass or two with him ,it set the scene for the day after which went like clock work.
As you can see we were also met by Seema Kennedy the new MP for South Ribble. It was interesting to hear how her first year as a new MP was going, Part of the group from South Ribble were delighted to see her on site; specially when they had worked so hard in the election to put her there.
We were all walked up to Downing St where we all had our photos taken out side on the steps of no 10. David was not in so we said we would call another time.
The return journey went with out a hitch but not before we were all filmed by Sky News boarding our coach with the caption of not being afraid of coming to the capital after the French bombing!!
